Swapspace swap tracking
SwapSpace’s Swap Tracker uses an exchange ID to show progress through deposit confirmation, provider processing, and outgoing delivery. A confirmed deposit alone does not establish that the recipient has received the swapped asset.

- Lookup reference
- The exchange ID for the order, entered in SwapSpace’s Swap Tracker.
- Exchange execution
- The selected provider processes the swap and sends the output to the recipient address, while SwapSpace aggregates offers and displays progress.
- Processing estimate
- SwapSpace describes most crypto swaps as taking 5-60 minutes, depending on the provider and blockchain network; compliance reviews can take substantially longer.
What does each status mean?
| Status | Meaning | Relevant check |
|---|---|---|
| Awaiting deposit | The order is waiting for its incoming payment. | Compare any transfer already sent with the specified asset, network, deposit address, amount, and any required memo or tag. |
| Confirming | The incoming payment is at the confirmation stage. | Check the deposit transfer’s confirmation status, keeping incoming-payment confirmation separate from completion of conversion or delivery. |
| Exchanging | The chosen provider is processing conversion into the requested asset. | Use the exchange ID for a progress enquiry, since the deposit transaction alone cannot explain the provider’s processing. |
| Sending | The order has reached its outgoing-transfer stage. | Check receipt at the recipient address on the selected network; this stage alone does not establish that the wallet has received funds. |
Which reference belongs in a support request?
The exchange ID identifies the swap in SwapSpace’s tracker, while a blockchain transaction hash identifies an individual transfer on its network. Keep both references when investigating a deposit or payout, because they describe different parts of the exchange.
SwapSpace provides live chat and email support around the clock. Include the exchange ID, selected provider, asset pair, networks, amount sent, and status shown when requesting an update. Deposit transaction details help distinguish a funding issue from a later processing delay.
Does a confirmed deposit prove delivery?
All order details and observations in this example are hypothetical. A BTC-to-ETH order shows Exchanging in SwapSpace, its BTC deposit has confirmations, and the recipient has received no ETH.
The BTC transaction supports checking the deposit, while the exchange ID identifies the order for an enquiry about provider processing. Ask support about conversion and the outstanding ETH payout; the confirmed deposit does not explain the delay or guarantee a refund.
Why can a status remain unchanged?
Compare elapsed time with the selected offer’s estimate before deciding that processing has run longer than expected. Blockchain congestion can delay transfers, while provider checks can interrupt the exchange. Crypto-to-crypto swaps need no SwapSpace registration, but the selected provider can still require identity verification.
SwapSpace’s Terms of Use, updated May 20, 2026, allow providers to suspend transactions over reasonable suspicions of prohibited activity or sanctions involvement. During such a compliance suspension, the provider may hold funds for up to 180 calendar days from the suspension date. That period can extend for an ongoing compliance review or a request from a competent authority or law enforcement agency. The provider may request additional information during that period; SwapSpace cannot control the provider’s own verification procedures.
Does cancellation mean the funds are back?
A cancellation does not establish that the provider has returned the original asset. An initiated swap may become impossible to modify or cancel.
Missing a fixed-rate order’s deposit-receipt window can lead to repricing or cancellation, with any resulting return subject to network fees and provider policies.
